University of Pennsylvania presents
"Using Technology to Do Business with Penn"
This workshop will focus on understanding how suppliers can develop a more strategic relationship with Penn. The University utilizes e-Procurement technologies to conduct business with its suppliers. The Penn Marketplace, Penn's private supplier exchange, enables targeted suppliers to offer online catalog content and Penn specific pricing information to Penn faculty and staff across campus. This simplified online ordering process makes the buying experience more efficient for buyers and promotes utilization of preferred suppliers. It's a win-win for both the seller and for the customer.
Penn is the first university to choose the SciQuest Incorporated diversity supplier enablement solution which helps targeted diversity and local community suppliers utilize content management tools and services necessary to enable online catalog content for the Penn Marketplace. This solution enables suppliers to electronically develop and maintain
their catalog content, which promotes increased business opportunity at Penn. That in turn benefits the institution. It's just good business.
